I collaborated with Placemakr Hotel to feature my personal brand, Three Barkx, in their dog-friendly locations. I designed exclusive products tailored to enhance their guests' experience, ensuring even furry visitors have a memorable stay. This partnership not only boosts Placemakr's brand recognition but also helps retain customers by showcasing their commitment to providing exceptional service for all guests.
In this case study, I focused on enhancing ingredient storytelling for Covey's Sleep Tight Bakuchiol Serum through TikTok and Reels. I incorporated a TikTok/Reel brief for Emily DiDonato, the co-founder, and a weekly founder engagement campaign. The case study also included a cohesive feed plan for the Instagram page and an analysis of competitors in the skincare industry. The company was projected to see a 10% increase in follower engagement within a few weeks. In working on this case study, I sought to leverage innovative content strategies and foster authentic community interaction so that Covey could successfully capture a wider audience, strengthen brand loyalty, and generate positive sentiment, driving the brand towards continued growth.

In June 2023, I had the exciting opportunity to take charge of Porte's social media presence during the prestigious Modern Retail Conference held in NYC. This unique conference serves as a gathering point for over 300+ brands, buyers, thought leaders, and retailers, fostering new connections and facilitating discussions on the latest trends in the retail industry. Porte is the ultimate platform for staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving retail landscape. As part of my role, I engaged with business leaders, conducting interviews to capture their valuable thoughts and opinions on the future of retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies. These insights not only provided guidance for others seeking to break into their respective industries but also contributed to fostering a deeper understanding of the industry's direction.
The objective of our sponsored college capstone project, in collaboration with Dick's Sporting Goods, was to develop a comprehensive and innovative marketing strategy for the company. Our project encompassed a range of crucial tasks, including researching and analyzing competitors, conducting a thorough financial assessment, devising an implementation plan, creating new products, substantiating our ideas through research, and exploring novel approaches to ensure the success of our proposed strategy. Through this project, we aimed to provide Dick's Sporting Goods with actionable insights and recommendations that would position them for continued growth and success in the market.
The objective of my college Product Development class was to create a compelling assortment plan for a fashion company of our choice. This involved developing a new product line and specifying intricate details such as fabric construction, fabric content, and fabrication techniques. Additionally, we conducted thorough research to identify upcoming popular silhouettes and colors for the target season. Our line assortments included key metrics such as SKU count, average units per SKU, target retail prices, target costs, LDP (Landed Duty Paid) values, total cost, and retail figures, as well as mark-up percentages. We also delved into understanding the target consumers and the brand identities of the company, ensuring our assortments resonated with their preferences and the brand's overall image.
